• Steps of reform improved the Kingdom status

    Al-Dabbagh:The reform steps has led to improve the Kingdom status in the report of "Ease of Doing Business"
     
    Kingdom among the top five countries in the world carried by economic reforms
     
     

    The Governor of SAGIA Amr Al-Dabbagh in an exclusive interview for "Al-Eqtissad" in its latest issue showing that Kingdom has improved its rank in doing business, and commercial licenses, credits access ,tax payments, and cross-border trade.

    Explaining that the (NCC) is annually reviewing and analyzing  the indicators and the main and sub criteria's in its report . Pointing out that 2010 saw a number of development steps and reforms that have led to improve the status of the Kingdom in the report of the business ease, as Kingdom have achieved the first place in the Arab world, and 11th  globally.
     
    This came following the issuance of the report (The ease of doing business), which recently issued by the International Finance Corporation IFC of the World Bank stressing that Kingdom is one of the top five countries in the world carried out economic reforms during the past five years.
     
    Furthermore; Al-Dabbagh explained that Kingdom has made during the last five years several steps to confirm its "global" status. And progressed at a steady pace achieving advanced centers in this way. The progress in the field of ease of doing business, as assumed in 2010 ranked first among the Arab world, and 11th globally,an obvious progress of indicating excellence among 183 countries.
     
    He also stressed that the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, marked by development and modernization in various areas, including the economic sphere, which has witnessed several developments and fundamental reforms with a direct impact on economic growth and prosperity witnessed by the Kingdom ..reflecting a clear vision of the country leadership and its important role played by the economy and its impact on Saudi development plans.

    "Al-Eqtissad" magazine turned also to highlight the 6  budgets subject launched by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, describing it as virtuous clouds, considering these budgets as an advanced projects for global and regional development.

    And under the title of Islamic banking ;the magazine highlighted some inquiries to become a global alternate?! Pointing out that Islamic financial institutions have not much affected by the crisis, being the subject of many researchers and specialists to identify the Islamic Finance way as an updated mechanism dynamically and vital alternative.
